got kids! LA – the brainchild of two Los Angeles moms
Publisher Dina Appleton is an entertainment attorney at a top law firm, and co-publisher Kristy Cox is the head of book publishing for a major movie studio. As busy professional moms, Dina and Kristy wanted to spend quality time with their children and needed information about kids' activities, products, programs, resources and services quickly and easily. When they couldn't find what they were looking for -- a comprehensive, non-disposable and portable reference guide covering all areas of the city -- they decided to publish it themselves. Based on their own needs and with input and feedback from other parents citywide, they developed the idea for Got Kids! and are now pleased with the results of their enthusiasm and effort. Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Tanya Morrow, comes from a background in entertainment promotions, product placement and marketing. Together, they have over 40 years of experience in publishing, branding and entertainment.
